After the demolition of the Berlin Wall, one question remains on the minds of young East German Photographers. Their photographs emphasize their isolation, denounce their environment, moving closer to the furtive shadows, carrying with them all the earnestness of a generation living in doubt. The traces of war remain and reconstruction will be difficult.
